Under 12 squad
Most Clubs run an Under 12 squad and an Under 13 squad.
Players are recruited into the Under 12 squads, with the majority staying with the Clubs for two years. The Under 12 squads compete as 7-a-side teams. Small sided games are the ideal environment for learning and development at this age. The climax to their first year is playing in the Denmark Football Festival or the Dana Cup, also held in Denmark.
These tournaments provide the ideal practice for competing in the Gothia World Youth Cup twelve months later
Under 13 squad
The following year the team competes as an 11-a-side Under 13 team in the Gothia World Youth Cup. This tournament is the largest and most prestigious youth football tournament in the World. With over 1200 teams from nearly 100 countries, this is an experience no player will ever forget.
